Jimmie Hale Mission
GFBC has a long-running relationship with this homeless shelter in downtown Birmingham. At 5:00 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month, GFBC members assist in food distribution and help lead the worship service. GFBC also hosts the annual banquet for the Jimmie Hale Mission
Save-A-Life
Located here in Gardendale, the North Jefferson Women's Center is a non-profit organization that promotes the sanctity of life. Through counseling and personal relationship building, this center strives to promote life as God intends. We will support this ministry in the coming year financially and by sending volunteers to be trained as counselors and others to help make repairs needed to the facility.
Construction Teams
GFBC construction teams will be participating in local construction work this summer as opportunities arise.
