Volunteers from GFBC serve a delicious home-cooked meal to hundreds of teachers at more than 30 schools across JeffersonCounty each year so they can see and “taste” the simple message that we appreciate them and are praying for them.
Why do we host teacher appreciation breakfasts?
To say “Thank You”. If anyone deserves a pat on the back, it is those who have dedicated their lives to the education of our children.
To let them know we approach the throne of God on their behalf in prayer to bless their work and their lives.
To give Christians who work at each school a platform to speak out about Christ and GFBC.
To keep the lines of communication open between public schools and the church to form and nurture a positive relationship that will last through eternity.
